|This is Daisy's, "I know I just finished my sundae but I want another one," face.|
Daisy and I have been getting lots of inquiries about ice cream ever since I last posted about our trip to Durham to get doggie sundaes on Sunday so she thought she'd give you the scoop:
Q: How much does your mom spend on those yummy looking sundaes?
D: $1.09! My mom says that that's a bargain compared to other places where it costs between $3.00 - $4.00!
Q: Where is Kaleida-Scoop? Why do you like it there?
D: It is in a plaza next to a grocery store on 7 Mill Road in Durham on the UNH campus!
I like it because I can always count on students to pet me and tell me how beautiful I am! I even get my pictures taken from time to time!
Q: Are you eating special doggie ice cream? If it's "people ice cream", is it safe for dogs?
D: Since I think I'm a person it doesn't bother my tummy to eat "people ice cream" at all BUT some of my doggie friends get very sick from anything that has milk and dairy products in it (my mom says that's called "lactose intolerant") SO their humans have to drive by the ice cream stands at full speed!
Q: What ice cream brands can I buy for my lactose intolerant dogs?
D: There's no milk in Frosty Paws and Frosty Paws Bites and they are yummy! I've tasted them myself!
Q: Since you are your mom's dog walking assistant do you think ice cream or milk bones are better "paychecks"?
D: Ice cream, of course, but I accept any form of payment! Woof! Woof!
