Jumping In With Four Feet

When my parents adopted me I was convinced they thought I was a labrador retriever because they expected me to jump right into this lake and start swimming just like labs do.

Try as they might, my parents couldn't get me to touch the water! Dry land was where I belonged as far as I was concerned!

But I changed my mind about the whole dry land thing when I met my tall, dark, and handsome friend, Zeus, who just so happens to be a labrador retriever who loves to get wet

in his very own swimming pool!

Since I kinda have a crush on Zeus I didn't want him to think I was afraid of the water so I stuck my toes and then my nose in the pool

and then I jumped in with all four feet!

And then Zeus congratulated me for taking the plunge by introducing me to the game of soccer!

But I wondered if he was just leading me on

to dry land instead?

No, he just needed a quick break and then he followed me back into the pool for another game of soccer and then I introduced him to tennis! Now that I'm not afraid to get off dry land, Zeus and I can get to know each other better in his private pool! Woof!

Pug Finds Love On The Internet: The Sequel

After a long, long day of dog walks and cat visits I still planned to write a blog tonight, believe it or not, and the subject was going to be all about Daisy's first swimming lesson (so stay tuned), but many of my readers requested a video sequel to my prior post about a pug who found love on the internet and since I hate to disappoint my blogger friends, I am honoring your requests immediately.

I did some research about the famous puglet and I found that he is currently pursuing a long distance internet relationship with his lady-love, Jenny, and I am quite sure he hopes to marry her one day. As you may know, Mr. Puglet found Jenny through an internet Google search which led him to You Tube which led him to Jenny the Pug. Mr. Puglet stopped his search when he saw his future bride, Jenny, taking her puglets for a stroller ride and he immediately fell in love and I can see why!

For those ladies who are looking for Mr. Right, I highly recommend you start walking a "stroller dog" and all your dreams will come true! If Mr. Puglet can find love, you can too!

Yes, You Can Take Your Pets EVERYWHERE!

After reading Daisy's sweet-as-pie Mother's Day blog post, I found myself wishing I could take her everywhere and by EVERYWHERE I mean that I wish I could take her inside some of my favorite shops, restaurants, and supermarkets, but since Daisy does not meet the two-legged standard that all of these establishments require she'll be stuck in the car while I have all of the fun.

But thankfully, Youdoopets, "The make your own mini-pet kit", came to the rescue! Daisy will go EVERYWHERE I go and it's as easy as one, two, three!

The Instructions Are:
1. Print an image of Daisy's face onto the image transfer sheet and then iron it straight onto youdoopet's head. Haven't got a pet? Visit our petshop!

2. A 'youdoopet' t-shirt is included in the kit! Personalise it by using the iron-on transfer paper or by using fabric pens or paints.

3. Remember to register your new 'youdoopet' on our website and upload a photo so your pet can be in with a chance of being our pet of the week.

If you are halfway through this blog and want to order a Youdoodog immediately I highly recommend you order from an alternative site because Youdoopets is based in the UK and the pound/dollar conversion may cause some confusion. I hope you doo (ha! ha!) take my advice!

And don't worry, kitty lovers, they also have Yoodoocat, which is invaluable because dogs can't have all the fun!

And if you happen to know someone who prefers humans (Oh my!) rather than dogs or cats, there's a Youdoodoll on the market as well!

When your Youdoopet arrives in the mail, I hope your dog or cat enjoys the scenery as much as my mini-Daisy does!

Sophie Runs On Dunkin'

After a long hard workout with my pug friends, Ace and Fenway, I was kinda tired so I made myself comfortable for the long ride home

and just when I was about to catch some shut-eye, I noticed my pet sitter was not taking me home just yet and I couldn't be happier!  This Dunkin' Donuts place is pawesome because

I love hearing my SIX favorite words: "May I take your order, please?"

and I love answering, "Why, yes, you may take my order, Mr. Talking Box! I would like a plain bagel for my furriend and I would like some reduced fat (beclaws a hound's gotta watch her figure) plain cream cheese for me, please."

and just when I thought my order would pop out of the talking box thingy my pet sitter drove off to another place called a WINDOW.  At this WINDOW a very nice lady said,"That'll be $2.28, please."  I don't know what $2.28 means but for some reason my pet sitter was smiling and thankful when the lady told her she didn't have to give her the 28 cents. Maybe it was beclaws the nice lady thought I was cute enough to photograph! I'm not sure what I like best about that Dunkin' lady...The fact that she thought I was cute? Or that she was thoughtful enough to leave her imprint in this pawesome picture? Either way, the Dunkin' lady gets my paw of approval!

and my pet sitter, April, wins my paw of approval too! After all, she is the best pet sitter ever!

What Mother's Day Means To Daisy

Sometimes a girl's gotta catch up on her beauty sleep but today was not the day to be lazy because I have a blog to write!

That's right, I am going to write an extra special Mother's Day blog for my mom! I think I have the best mom in world because

she's an amazing dancer

and she's a pretty good driver

and she has a nice hubby-to-be

and she gave me two brudders, Buster and Henry,

and she takes me on walks everyday!

So what I'm trying to say, mom, is I LOVE YOU!

Kisses and Wags,
Daisy
