It's always difficult for Maisey to be without her family and most especially in the evening so I always extend her visit for a lot longer than my usual quote of 30 minutes and I'm happy to do so because she is precious and she needs the TLC!
She also needs a furry friend to ease her loneliness and that was my Daisy's job! Sharing cubes of cheese served as a yummy distraction!
Maisey's appetite isn't at its best when her family is away so cheese (and bacon, of course) give her the encouragement she needs to eat!
Giving Maisey the comfort she needs while her family is away is a pleasure because nothing is more rewarding than making a dog feel safe and loved!
