A Peek Inside My Relaxation Haven

For three years I've been sharing my pet sitting adventures with you but I haven't taken you inside my little haven where I relax and blog during my time off so I'm going to take you on a little tour. 

The picture above is what my pets look like when they want my undivided attention and it usually happens right before it's time for bed. 

I shared this picture on my Teacher's Pet Sitting Service Facebook page  and one of my clients responded, "Do you have any room to sleep?", and my answer was, "Well, at times Buster (the plump cat) either sleeps by my arm or balances on my head; Daisy either sleeps on the other side of me or she wanders off to her dog pillow in the corner of the room; Henry either sleeps on the end of the bed or he does his surveillance work at a variety of windows throughout the apartment."

As you can tell, my bedroom is all about pink, vintage, and odds and ends found at consignment stores and yard sales.

When my living room has been shined and vacuumed it looks like this! As you can see, Daisy has to give her paw of approval after my hard work is done. My computer used to sit at the opposite side of the room on a vintage chrome table but it has since been moved in between the windows so I can view the scenery rather than a wall. And, yes, you are seeing that a majority of my books are stacked behind a fireplace screen. Someone asked me, as a joke, if I was going to be conducting a book burning ceremony anytime soon.
