Daisy enjoys two nutritious meals a day which includes 1/4 cup of organic pumpkin to help prevent anal gland issues and
1 teaspoon of organic coconut for fiber and to further prevent anal gland issues and
1 cup of grain-free Instinct Chicken Meal for Dogs
And when I mix all of the ingredients together, it looks like this! Doesn't this meal make your mouth water?
It looks very healthy. Look, that's great if Daisy's happy, but please don't tell my Moms about this. They're starting to get ideas, reading about my furiends' health food diets. Today she tried to feed me a carrot! I'm planning a post about it, but I may be too traumatized to do it tonight. A carrot, indeed!

That's quite a diet; hope it helps Daisy with her gland problems...She's a silly girl to eat your bunny slippers!!MOL...Hope you have a fun week...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
ReplyDeleteThe shoes are cute and look like something Holly would love to snack on between meals. Thanks for the idea of what to give Holly to help with the anal gland issue. She seems to have a big problem when I take her to be groomed and she always ends up at the vet to be helped. The vet said he sees it all of the time though with certain groomers being too rough. I had never had a dog before that had the problem and didn't know it existed until Holly. I will try your recipes out!! (With the exception of the bunny shoes!!) Lots of love, Debbie and Holly
ReplyDeleteOhhhh... I am so getting Gary pumpkin ( he already loves carrots, but can eat some more now)
ReplyDeleteHe is the master of spraying poor UPS drivers.. I'm sure they think its me!!.. thanks for the info!
I will tell my mom about that!
ReplyDeletea bunny sounds like a good snack!
My Vet expresses my glands every time I go to get my pawdicure!

Hello to all of my furry dog friends,
ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how embarrASSed I am that my mom told the ENTIRE WORLD that I need organic canned pumpkin & coconut to prevent anal gland problems BUTT it's a literal pain in the butt to be EXPRESSED at the vets office and very stinky too! Am I right, guys-n-gals? Even though I am embarrASSed that my mom wrote about my BEHIND I am glad I can help everyone stay out of the vets office & eat organic yummy things instead! XOXO-Daisy
It sounds like you put a lot of thought into her diet! I confess, I do really love the days where I prepare Marge's meals. It isn't often, but I feel like mixing some shredded chicken, or rice, or something into the bowl makes it look really yummy.. :)
ReplyDeleteOkay that stuff looks awfully good
