Because I always try to commemorate important events
with photographs I couldn't help but snap a photo of Daisy while she invited her pal, Bebe, to play with her today. The reason why Daisy's interest in playing was so significant was because one month ago today Daisy had hip surgery and I never dreamed she would be interested in anything other than walking short distances by now. I was told that dogs recuperate much quicker than humans do but I was skeptical until I saw her
zoom around with Bebe. If that wasn't enough, Daisy amazed me even further when she walked for 30 minutes afterwards without flinching too much when she saw cars pass by!
And when her big anniversary walk and play time was over, Daisy did just what the vet, Bebe, and her mom ordered --- rest!
Thank you, everyone, for your words of encouragement! Daisy and I appreciate it more than words and woofs can say!
Go Daisy. Nice to see you bouncing again.
