What May 30th Means To Daisy

In case you've been wondering why my mom has been slacking in her blogging duties lately it's beclaws she and my dad visited one of America's top ten most beautiful state parks, the Flume Gorge, and then

my mom posed with a scary looking polar bear

and my dad fed deer at The Polar Caves Park in Plymouth, New Hampshire,

while I sat at home thinking about my foster parents, Shannen and Dave, who took good care of me for 3 months until last year, on May 30th, when they drove me to a McDonald's parking lot to meet

my furrever dad, Amos,

and my furrever mom, April,

and even though I was happy to be in my new parent's car, I couldn't stop thinking about

Shannen's smile

and Dave's lap

or my friendship with their handsome dog, Dax,

and there will always be a special place in my heart for them because they led me to my furrever home where I belong.

Thank you, Shannen and Dave, for everything!

  1. Wow! Flume Gorge looks like a fabulous place. Maybe we should put it on our list of road trips! We've never been to New Hampshire - is that a place where they have lots of hamsters or just lots of ham? Mmmm - hammm.

  2. Awww...Happy Gotcha Day, Daisy! Your foster pawrents look like Most Wonderful and Kind peoples! What in the world would we rescue doggies do without peoples like them?

And I'm glad your pawrents had fun but did they have to look SO happy without you?

    Wiggles & Wags,

  3. What a sweet post. They did so much for you and you're right to never, ever forget them!

  4. Oh what a sweet story!!
We are so glad you found your furever home!!
Happy May 30th Gotcha Day Daisy!!
And what great Pawrents you have!!

  5. I would like to thank them AND Congratulate them too. They must have been grrreat beclaws they saw to it that you got where you belong.
And that made it so I could meet you, and we could become furends. That ALL makes me happy!!!!

  6. I would like to thank them for guiding you to your new home too. We would not have become good furends if they hadn't, and that would make me very much sad.

  7. How cool that your people got a day off to celebrate how great it is to have you in their lives! Congratulations to you!

  8. And I am Happy about it too beclaws it all means that you and I were able to become furends!! YEAH

  9. excuses, excuses....Oh, okay we will believe you. You have purrty pictures to prove you were away. tell your Paw that is a Dalmation, not a deer.

  15. Awww how sweet! I really wish we could have been there to celebrate her adoption aniversary day! Sometime in our travels we will plan to have a little renunion. She will always be very special to us and we think of miss Daisy often!

  16. Hi everybuddy! It's me, Daisy, and I have a few comments to comment about so here goes:
    1) Thanks for the congrats about the GOTCHA DAY but mom and I have no idea what GOTCHA DAY is so please explain. Was I supposed to do something special?
    2) Thank you, Miss Shannen AKA Foster Mom, for the nice comment and I sure do miss you and your hubby-to-be, Dave, and I hope you will tell Dax that I wish I could sit with him on his doggie bed sometime soon! Please try to come to my birthday party on Saturday, June 5th, pretty please?
    3) Again, Lola, Elgin Pugs, Mayzie-Gal, and Teddy Bear, I don't GET the GOTCHA DAY at all, but thanks for telling me that it's never too late to get presents, but where are they?
    4) Frankie, my man, thanks for being so happy that we are furrends beclaws you are a very good furrend and I'm glad we met you!
    5) Benny & Lilly, I think that's soooo funny that you think the deer is a dalmation!
    6) Sam, thanks for telling me that my bloggie post was sweet and to never forget my foster parents!
    7) Three Doxies ... Ummmm...I would never run away from your short selves beclaws I like you a lot and I missed you while my mom & dad left me alone for 2 days!
    8) And to those Road Doggies...I think that's pretty funny that you wonder if we have HAMSters in New Hampshire but actually New Hampshire's unofficial nickname is "Cow Hampshire" and when you get here you'll know why! You do need to make a "pit stop" on your road trip so I can meet all of you!

  24. What a lovely tribute to your foster pawrents! And what a kewl park your furrever pawrents went to!

  25. First of all, it doesn't look anyone has answered your question.....Gotcha day is the day you "gotcha" forever home or the day your pawrents "gotcha". I was wondering if your pawrents brought you any sue-van-ears from their vacation? Great post!
