The Best Dog Park On The Seacoast - Portsmouth Dog Park


If you live near the New Hampshire seacoast and you have a dog who loves to socialize, Portsmouth Dog Park is the place to visit! The park is located on Junkins Avenue between South Mill Pond and the public tennis courts in an area known as the South Mill Park.

 

This sand and gravel park has two fenced in areas; one for larger dogs and one for dogs under 20 pounds.  Dogs will appreciate the agility equipment, toys, and watering areas  while dog owners relax under the gazebo or on park benches.



While your pooch is drinking from the fire hydrant water fountain or lounging by the pool owners will enjoy the view of South Mill Pond and downtown Portsmouth.


And of course, meeting new friends at the park is the greatest benefit for dogs and owners alike!

    @ Old Kitty - Too bad there aren't any fenced in cat parks for them to enjoy but I have a feeling the cats would jump over the fence at the first sight of another cat!
    @ Meowmeowmans - It is a wonderful park with lovely views of downtown Portsmouth!
    @ Two French Bulldogs - I laughed at your comment about the community pool! That's too funny!
