I am so happy that Frankie came up with such a clever way to bring all of the us together with his Fourth of July Name Game. I am also grateful Frankie made this game so simple or else I would never find the time to write this post!
As many of you know, Henry was a college kitten so it just made sense to give him a name of distinction in the hopes that no one would ever furget him. After all, how many people don't know who Henry VIII, Henry Fonda, Henry David Thoreau, or Henry Winkler are? I'm hoping our Mr. Henry will be a household name furever and ever!
By the time I adopted Buster, Henry was a mature 3 year old cat who spent the majority of his time thinking about serious matters but Buster changed had other things on his mind such as busting and breaking through Chrismas packages and thus the name "Buster" came to be. To this day he gets his paws (and his head) into everything and we love his dynamic purrsonality!
Daisy had her name for an entire year before we came into her life but we weren't sure if the name fit her personality so we began calling her "Martha" right away hoping she'd grow into it. After three days of "name calling" we realized she really was as gentle and as pretty as a daisy and we knew Daisy was the right name for her after all!
Happy 4th of July to all! I hope you had a safe and relaxing holiday!
We loved reading about the names!! Lots of love, Debbie and Holly
