When Daisy found out that Rock 101's radio show host, Scorch, was going to live in a cage from June 7th through June 11th to raise money for the Animal Rescue League of NH she begged me to take her to the Verizon Wireless Arena to meet her new hero.
Before meeting Scorch we were greeted by this handsome fella
who asked Daisy if she would like to marry him!
As you know, Daisy has plenty of boyfriends but this was her first marriage proposal and she was eager to bark, "Yes!" but I told Daisy she cannot marry a homeless man no matter how cute he was! I explained that I would CONSIDER giving my blessing only AFTER Devin has a roof over his head. So please, for the sake of puppy love, view Devin's bio to see if he would be purrfect for you and your family!
After that interlude, Daisy nearly forgot why she was at Scorch's 3rd Annual Paws For a Cause in the first place!
She was there to thank Scorch for living in a cage for the sake of all of the animals who are in need of food, shelter, and a forever home.
That is GREAT!
ReplyDeleteWhat a crazy stunt; I bet it did attract a lot of people for the adoption cause. And Daisy is quite the popular pooch!

What a cool fundraiser! That Scorch sounds like a great guy. All we have here is two cops who sit on the roof of the doughnut shop to raise money for the children's hospital!
ReplyDeleteIf you say yes, I think you have to give up all your boyfriends, Daisy. I'd think hard about that if I were you!
Bunny
Scorch sure is a good boy...What a great idea
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
That is a real nice thing for that man to do. I hope they let him out to exercise and potty when needed. Has Daisy asked you to invite her fiance to live with you yet? I figure she will if she hasn't already.
ReplyDeleteThat hooman looks pretty comfy in the crate! What a great way to raise money for such a great cause!
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots
Maggie and Mitch
Scorch's crate seemed kind of small. I mean, could he really sit, lie down, and turn around comfortably? Okay, okay, it was for a good cause... :)
