Daisy's First Visit to Farmville

Nearly every week I walk my coon hound, Daisy, around Dover High School and along the way we stop to look at this cute mural that brightens the side of

the animal science barn. We love to stare at the open doors in the hopes that one day we will see the

 goats wander towards us and sure enough we met five last Friday!

Daisy felt safe to sniff them from a distance until

one fearless goat put its nose close to hers 

 

and Daisy was intimidated so much that her only recourse was to ignore her and the rest of the family and that is what

 

 they did!

I hated to see negative interaction between Daisy and goats but I had to remind myself that friendships between animals can take time to develop so I will try to be patient when they meet again.

I'm curious to know if your dogs met any farm animals on their walks. If so, how did your dogs react?
