Here in Dover, NH, Daisy has been allowed to browse in clothing stores, the barber shop, the bank, the hardware store, and lately she got the chance to walk to this tiny library that is located on 88 Court Street at any time of day thanks to
Ellen Rogers, who is part of a free book exchange, known as the "Little Free Library."
Little Free Library is an organization of book enthusiasts who encourage their peers to create small book exchange centers in their hometowns to promote reading and a sense of community. This idea has been going strong throughout the United States and has been gaining momentum every day.
Daisy and I look forward to visiting Little Free Library every week and we are sure this library is going to be popular neighborhood landmark!

ReplyDeleteI agree, Erin and Old Kitty, that this little library is very cool!I'd heard about on-line book exchanges but I never saw one "live" in a neighborhood until I moved to Dover!
