Why Sally, Mittens, Tilly, and Fiona Loved Visits From Their New Pet Sitter

Because  of the convenience of automatic feeders, water fountains, and litter boxes many cat owners believe their furry friends will survive just fine without a professional pet sitter but no technology will ever replace human touch, companionship, and peace of mind. In addition, none of these inventions will be able to take care of their cat who isn't feeling well, got locked in the closet, or knocked over a water bowl and that is why my four new buddies were happy to have me visit them each day.

In addition to Sally (above), there was Mittens,

Tilly, and

Fiona who loved all of the attention and love I gave them while their owner was in Florida for seven days

Since I know it is an expense to hire a cat sitter I am pleased to announce that I charge the LOWEST rate in town while offering free extras such as collecting mail, watering plants, alternating lights and blinds for a lived-in look, etc, BUT my most most popular extra I offer is text or e-mail updates regarding each visit along with  photographs of their cat(s) so owners can SEE that their companions are happy.

If you've been thinking about hiring a cat sitter and live in the Dover, Durham, Somersworth, New Hampshire, areas please contact me for a free "Meet and Greet" consultation! I'd be happy to help!

  1. What a wonderful service you provide. Cats get as lonely as
dogs do and require human interaction daily. If not, they can get very stressed and depressed. Even if it is a multi-cat household, being left for days with no companionship can cause them to be stressed and fight with each other. I recommend one visit daily, at least.

    1. Hi Deb,
Thanks for pointing out that cats do get stressed out and then act out negatively even if they are in a multi-cat household! Because some cats react this way I strongly suggest that I visit twice a day or lengthening my visits past the normal 40 minutes to help ease their minds.

  3. Totally agree. Having a human pet, doing belly rubs and giving treats is well worth it

    1. Yes, it is a very good idea to have a human there with the cats on a daily basis!
