Daisy and I Get Into the Christmas Spirit in Downtown Dover, NH

Daisy and I have been getting into the Christmas spirit on a nightly basis by taking strolls downtown to see the window displays which are just minutes from our home. One of decked out stores was Ear Craft Music, a fun store that not only sells instruments but also offers music lessons to people of all ages and talents.

Unfortunately my camera wouldn't cooperate in showing you that the records spell out "Merry Christmas" and I thought was very clever! By this point Daisy was wondering why a shop owner didn't come out to give her a milk bone so she figured she'd get one on her next stop

but she was disappointed again! However, I love how cleverly the ladies at Nicole's Hallmark decorated their windows!

Next up is Harvey's Bakery, family-owned business that has been baking for 80 years, and is still going strong! Not surprisingly, the customers kept the employees from stepping out to give Daisy a cookie

but that was okay with her because she knew the route home would take her to her favorite shop of all, Garrison City Barbershop, and even though it wasn't decorated for Christmas, she only had one thing on her mind ---

                                                                                           milk bones!
