Oops! Whodunit Again?

 

On Thursday morning my friends Trixie (at left)and Reed were unusually quiet when they met me at the door and as they stared at me intently I asked them what was wrong. No answer.

I then asked Gilbert why his siblings wouldn't answer my question. No answer.

 I then figured that the only way to find out what was wrong was to send them out back so I could investigate and lo and behold I found THIS. 

Since the dogs would not reveal the culprit of the "crime" I sent a text to their mom and she responded that it was 

 Trixie who tore the cable box instructions apart. She knew this because she knows Trixie is obsessed with paper and if any is left out by mistake she will destroy it. Case in point: the bathroom doors have to be shut because Trixie will tear toilet paper off the roll!

As soon as I received this information, Trixie stepped forward to confess. Was she sorry for her actions? Absolutely not! Why does her mom need the manual anyway? After all, her mom figured out how to operate the television over the weekend so why keep it? Good point, Trixie.
