If there was ever a dog who knew how to gain worldwide attention for being a thief it has to be Oscar, a three-legged German short-hair pointer, who stole dog from Alray Dairy in Ivercargill, New Zealand! For most thieves it would be unfortunate that surveillance cameras caught him walking through the open back door, select a $5.40 roll of dog meat, and saunter out through the front door but because of his presumably homeless status many have requested to adopt him from the pound have been pouring in daily.
I suspect (pun intended) that Oscar won't need to steal from Alray Dairy again because he will be well fed by his new owners very soon. Don't you agree?
What a smart doggy! We, too, bet he'll find a loving forever home real soon. :)

We saw this on the news this morning. What a smart doggy. Our news story said his parents were out of town and would have to bust him out of jail when the get home. Ihope all works out for him.

Oscar is definitely one of a kind! I hadn't heard that his parents were out of town at the time he got caught stealing! I'm so glad he has a home!
