Daisy's Recuperation Update 18 Days Later!

When I brought Daisy home from surgery on December 18 she didn't have the energy to hop onto the bed, rearrange the pillows to form a nest, or pose for pictures but as of this morning she showed me that she's feeling much better!

Now that she's feeling better I'm hoping that she  will soon start 1/4 mile per day as the vet prescribed but that will be a work in progress as she still fears both the sight and sound of traffic. At this point she would rather blaze a trail on the stairs rather than on the road and I have to realize that it will take weeks and perhaps months for her to feel confident on her walks.

Thank you, dear friends, for your encouragement, crossed paws, and prayers for Daisy and I as we travel down the recuperation road together!
