I think everyone remembers Dolly Pepper, my 3-legged redtick coon hound client, who was in my care last month, right? Well, for those who couldn't get enough of her adorable face and her silly antics, you'll be happy to know she's back in my care again!
For the past 11 days Dolly has been eagerly waiting for me to open her door because her
best buddy, Daisy, will be waiting for her!
While living in Manchester Daisy had the opportunity to walk with a variety of dogs throughout the day and has missed having a busy schedule ever since. Luckily, Teacher's Pet Sitting Services is starting to grow to the point where Daisy has been walking with a number of new clients often but I truly believe that Daisy has chosen Dolly Pepper as her favorite.
At times I wonder if the two really like each other but
when they start walking I am reassured that they are the best of friends. Not only do they look alike, they also act alike by sniffing, pulling, and barking throughout each hour long walk. Believe me, walking with these girls is never dull but instead it is a very rewarding and fun-filled adventure!
At the end of every walk there is a great deal of disappointment on Daisy's face and
on Dolly's but I've let them know they will be walking partners for 3 more days and will continue to see each other when Dolly's owners leave town again!

For years Daisy had no interest in hounds but preferred to hang out with pugs instead (much to my delight because I'm obsessed with pugs) but now she realizes that hounds are pawsome too!
