What Happens After Halloween.....

Since I am a last minute holiday shopper (I was at the grocery store at 9pm last night buying Halloween candy) I am always annoyed to see Christmas candy sitting right beside the Halloween candy just daring me to think ahead but I can't just can't do it!

For example, our cats, Henry and Buster, don't get to rest under the Christmas tree until Christmas Eve, poor things! Thankfully, they cannot read the calendar or else they would not report me for being a bad cat mom!

Obviously, I am a last minute kinda gal but I think my lack of planning makes life interesting hectic stressful fun, don't you agree? That being said, I simply do not understand how anyone could possibly think about Christmas when Halloween isn't even over with but apparently some people dogs do and their names are:

And guess what they are planning? A Holiday Christmas Card Exchange, that's what!!! Here are the details (and they are coming straight from Frankie's paws, mind, and soul) and not from me....

  1. We are pawticipating in that, too! It annoys our Mom to see the Christmas stuff out so early, too... but she says she hates it because you can't even enjoy one holiday without the others being right in your face. Drives her nuts!
    Have a Happy Halloweiner!

  9. Just wanted to drop by and wish you a Happy Halloween. A Christmas Card Exchange is always fun to participate in. I'm probably the odd one out here but I get into Christmas mode immediately after Halloween. The days go so fast that it comes and goes before you know it. But today is Halloween so Enjoy!

  12. So glad I met you April! As I said in my email, I'll bookmark you so I can follow you. Maybe one day my follower button will work again like it's supposed to!!

I didn't like dogs at all when I was a teenager. My mother was frightened of them, and passed on her fear. But now I love them! Have to, since my son and his wife have big Ollie (golden retriever who weighs more than I do); my youngest daughter has the two little Jack Russell terriers; oldest daughter has a big friendly "mutt" and a little dog named Gracie (I can't remember what kind of dog she is--senior moments!). And the terrier daughter also has three amazing cats. I'm going to start posting more pictures of them. You've just got me excited about all of them!!!

Have a wonderful day. And enjoy getting ready for Christmas!!!

  19. We've had Christmas stuff up in the shops for a month or so. We don't have Halloween, or Thanksgiving to take some of the hype away.
