Cremation Jewelry: A Unique Way To Remember Your Pet Forever

Typically, the ashes of our loved ones are tucked away in a decorative urn or box and are soon forgotten but what if I told you that you could discreetly carry a small amount of your loved one's ashes in a pendant, ring, or small urn instead?

It is possible to keep your loved ones close with cremation jewelry and one company that I recommend is Queen City Eclectics, a small but steadily growing E-bay store based in Manchester, New Hampshire.

If you are wary of buying jewelry on Ebay you aren't alone but I can assure you that Connie gained her jewelry experience while working at Kay Jeweler's and went on to become a certified gemologist and engraver before opening Queen City Eclectics. In fact, she was recently ranked as a top Ebay seller and she is proud to be of help to grieving pet owners from around the globe!

Simply put, cremation jewelry is a unique and beautiful way to help you keep your beloved pets close to your heart forever.

Tell me, dear friends, would you prefer to wear cremation jewelry or would you rather keep your pet's memories in a box or in a frame? How do you honor your pet's memories? Please share your thoughts! I'd love to read them!

  1. Id have to admit I think its a little creepy to carry around the ashes with me, I do think the jewlrey is pretty and for people who dont mind its a wonderful idea. I know that when Fred crosses the rainbow bridge he is going on the mantle so I can stare at him every day and remember how much work he was :)

  3. These are lovely jewellry!

When all my kitties went over the bridge, I just wanted their ashes scattered over a memorial garden. I like the thought that they help flowers grow.

    Take care

  5. i think the jewelry is lovely. when my father passed away, i looked into making a gemstone from his ashes. it was so expensive!! i think i will just keep memories in my heart. as for dear departed pets, i keep something to remember them by. i have my 18 year old cat's name tag and when we lost our first pug we kept her collar. i also have a garden ornament shaped like a pug with daisies on it, her name was daisy.
    hugs,

  7. I like the idea! My human great auntie would like that too. But as for my main family since we live on a farm, there is a little section for all our loved pets that have gone to the rainbow bridge. But we are going to consider this!

  8. I have always thought that the lifegems were a good idea, and hadn't heard about creamation jewelry until very recently - and I think that is a good idea too. But I don't know if I could wear it - but I would have it. We have Floyd's ashes in an urn that is put away - I just can't even think about it without getting sad, so I think that is why the jewlery would be hard for me. Maybe after it has been a bit longer I would be able to wear it - but I do still think it is a good idea.

  9. Hello Everyone,
I must admit that I'd never heard of cremation jewelry until I met Connie and I thought it was an interesting and unique concept that I felt needed to be shared in Blogville even though death is not a topic anyone wants to discuss or think about. I don't know if cremation jewelry is what I would choose to help me remember my pets if (God forbid) they ever pass away but I must say that it is good to know there are many keepsake options available.
I loved reading about what you have done to help you cope with the loss of your pets by spreading the ashes across the garden, keeping name tags, etc, and I think it's lovely how our pets bring out the sentimental in all of us.

  10. Scott and I have had so many Kitties...we have a special shelf in the master bedroom with pictures and urns of our AngelCats. I try to pick an urn that reflects each Cat's special qualities...I've even had a couple of them comissioned by artists to get just what I feel is right. I don't wear jewelery except earrings so no cremation jewelery for me.

  11. The jewerly is a nice idea. I have three of my pets ashes in urns with their pictures and tiny angels around them in memory. I have thought for awhile about spreading the ashes but one dates back to leaving me in 1997 and it's still in my bedroom with the others. Lots of love, Debbie and Holly

  12. I think the jewelry is beautiful! Part of me would like it, the other part is kind of creeped out by it.

I have my Bobo's ashes in a pretty wood urn with his photo on the top.

I would be very uncomfortable opening the urn at this point and having some of the ashes removed.

I also saved some of Bobo's fur in a special porcelain heart shaped box. I can barely bring myself to open it even with it being over 3 yrs now since he passed :(

  18. Cremation jewelries are unique ornaments, in which ashes of loved ones or pets are tucked inside pendants, rings etc. to keep the memory of loved ones alive even after their departure to the heavenly abode.
