Why Dewey Loves Friday Mornings

Arriving just a few minutes late on Friday morning does not sit well with Dewey because

he takes his recyling job very seriously!

So seriously, in fact, that he sniffs each bin until he finds

a bottle that can be carried

back to his very own recycling bin!

Dewey is the only 4-legged recycler in his neighborhood and he wonders where all of the recyclers are hiding so he can meet them.  Dewey can't save the planet all by himself so please tell him he's not the only dog who recycles! Dewey will thank you and so will the environment!

  3. Hmmm. Our recycling bins aren't like that so we can't reach into them in order to help, but we appreciate Dewey's efforts on behalf of the whole planet.

  14. Recycling day is the best. Now I don't personally take bottles back to my estate, but I do love investigating the contents of the boxes.

  21. This is Dewey's mom -- he wants to thank everyone for all the compliments! He also wants everyone to know that his very, very favorite thing is picking up bottles that are on the ground to bring home. He finds one almost every day! Even though he is 14 years old, he never misses a day of his rounds. He is a corgi-golden mix as best as anyone can guess and is a very unique boy.
