I believe every word of th...OMD what a sad story. I believe every word of this. Many years ago I was in slow traffic and drove past where a female duck had been hit and killed. She was laying right on the birm and her mate was standing beside her. Because traffic was backed up, we all went by very slowly and that duck wasn't quacking or honking, he was screaming. It was the saddest sound I've ever heard. He was looking at the sky and making this anguished screaming sound. That was back in 1992 or 1993 and I can still see and hear that scene in my head. Animals definitely have feelings. Thanks for sharing the moving post today.
