Lemmy's Neurologist Appointment Update

Hello Everyone,

If you don't remember me, I'm Lemmy, the guy who has been making everyone nervous on account of my  seizures (but like I said before, I don't remember them but I do remember waking up from these wild "dreams" wondering why I'm either tired, grouchy, snuggly, or peppy afterwards)!

Anyway, a few weeks ago my pet sitter shared the scary news about my seizures and promised to give you an update about my serious doctor's visit (I'm told that the guy is called a neurologist, whatever that means) that I went to on Wednesday so I'm just going to come out and say it---

I have a brain tumor. I don't know what that means exactly but my mom told April that I now have two medications to take (which means one thing: peanut butter!) and maybe I will have radiation treatments (but the doctor said it could make me feel really yucky and it won't do much good) so she's just going to  focus on spoiling me rotten until I start feeling really bad. Yes, you read that right - I may only have a few weeks to cuddle with my family,

            snuggle with April,

share peanut butter licks with my litter mate buddy, Iggy,

give April that "we know you just took us for a walk 5 minutes ago but we want to go on another walk RIGHT NOW because getting treats is our goal in life" look with my big, old brother Arty almost blocking my view!

I'm also going to soak up as much time as I can with the long-eared dog in the back (Daisy, April's dog) who practically moved in with us 3 years ago! This was one of the first of many photos April took of us and you can tell we are laughing right along with her!

So that's it, folks. Again, I don't know what a brain tumor is but I can tell you that it's making my parents and everyone else who loves me act sad but please don't be too sad because I have had a fun life (I'll be 9 next month) and I'm going to count my blessings every day because there's so much to be thankful for!

Love,

Lemmy

  1. Oh my goodness, Lemmy. I am so sorry to hear that! You just let everyone go ahead and spoil you rotten! A few weeks? If you can, you just say, Hey everyone! I'm going to prove you wrong and stick around awhile! Thoughts and prayers going out to you and your extended family.
