Since it's a gloomy, overcast day I thought I'd share pictures of Daisy's second trip to the beach with you!
A few weeks ago we drove to York Beach, Maine, and it amazed me that she sensed where we were going even before I rolled down the window. She loves the smell of the salty air as much as I do and couldn't take her eyes off the waves nor could she stop whining and whistling for me to take her out of the car.
As soon as her paws touched the sand she barked constantly, chased the waves and the seagulls, and rolled on the sand when the waves caught up to her.
I wish I could've let her run without a retractable leash but since she's a coon hound with an incredible sense of smell the chances of her coming back to me would be slim but she didn't complain a bit.
After barking constantly and chasing waves for over an hour I decided to walk her over to a
a willing photographer to snap a close-up photo of us as a reminder of this fun day.
Of course, Daisy preferred to look at the beach instead because she clearly wanted to get right back out there!
And that was exactly what we did so for the first time in my three years of blogging you can finally HEAR and see Daisy in action even though the screen is small! Enjoy!
