Gimli the Dwarf Warrior Joins the Teacher's Pet Sitting Family

If you've been keeping up with my posts for the past few years you would know that I've had a love affair with pugs ever since I got my first two pug clients, Emma and Lilly, when I was operating my business in the Manchester area. Soon, the word spread that I was a pug fanatic and other pugs persuaded their parents to call me and thus the pug fest went on for seven years much to my great delight.

Sadly, things changed when I moved to Dover two years ago because not one pug parent contacted me until Gimli's dad called on Tuesday. He asked me if I could fit Gimli into my schedule for ten days and of course I enthusiastically said, "Yes, I'd love to!"

So you can imagine how thrilled I to gear Gimli up for his first walk on Thursday!

Can you tell that he was aptly named after the Lord of the Ring's Gimli who was the dwarf warrior? He looks like he's on the war path for squirrels or something else tasty, in my opinion.

Of course because he's so cute I had to (ha-ha) break his stride a few times for photos and then

it was time to end the walk with a treat and a note to dad about his performance. He looked worried about the note but I assured him that he got an A+ along with bonus points for being a pug!

    1. Hi! I knew you would like him, Stella Rose! Maybe I should have him send you a pee mail? Unless you have too many boyfriends already?
