Cocheco Valley Humane Society's 1st Indoor Yard Sale Was a Success!

On Saturday I was happy to volunteer my time at Cocheco Valley Humane Society's first indoor yard sale which was held at Somersworth High School because by the end of the sale the shelter surpassed their goal of making $3000 by $225.21!

When shoppers could tear themselves away from adoptable pets Pete and

Sage they

found humor in these books along with several others.

And for those who needed a set of ready-to-go yellow sheets there they were just waiting to go home!

And of course since I'm awesome at finding deals for myself I couldn't have been more delighted to snag

these lovely Anne Taylor blouses,

and not one but

two jackets that I didn't need but wanted! Besides, spending money for a good cause is what the Cocheco Valley Humane Society yard sale was all about, right?

  7. Good news, everyone! I just found out that Sage found her forever home this weekend! I don't know the details but all I know is that she's no longer waiting for someone to notice her!
Also, yes, I was thrilled to contribute to CVHS by buying those 4 awesome pieces of clothing! Yeah!
