One of the perks of being a pet sitter for the past ten years is the chance to spend time with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities and I have fond memories of every one of them.
One of the most recent pair of dogs that I've come to know and love is Turbo and Rocket who, at our first meeting in June, bombarded me with a great deal of enthusiasm and it was then that I wondered if they knew how to sit still and rest. It didn't take long for me to see that they do, in fact, relax but their styles are unique.
For example, Turbo, doesn't realize that cats and small dogs fit better on top of the couch than she does while
Rocket prefers resting his head on the floor or on a cushioned pillow.
Needless to say, every client's personality is unique and I feel lucky to be able to spend time with every one of them!
What personality quirks do your pets have? And how many of your large breed dogs enjoy resting on top of the couch, pillow, or floor?
