A Powerless Weekend For Buster And What He Did About It

On the weekends I like to relax on the top of my purrsonal warming machine because that's where my mom likes to hang out while she writes to all of our blogging furends but this past weekend was a D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R with a capital "D" all because of the wind! Yep, you read that right....the wind was so nasty on Friday night that it knocked down a tree and knocked out our power! Yep, our lights went out, our television shut off, and most impawtently....my purrsonal heater gave my belly the chills.

But do you know what's worse than losing a purrsonal heater for the weekend? Losing my relaxing weekend routine, that's what! So in case you want to feel sorry fur me, here's what I lost out on this weekend:

Furst of all, I just couldn't relax in front of the tv because it was black all weekend long and that made me very uptight. Can't you tell?

And I did not poke around in my cat tree either because the wind was sure to find me up there so  I decided to make up my own routine....

sleep, sleep, and more sleep!

  3. Can you feel the Momster trying to give you a tummy rub? We had bad wind here last week, but a very nice weekend. Good to see you have power back, hopefully it wasn't terribly cold without the power.

  12. What a furry smart cat you are! You just can't go wrong with sleep, sleep, and more sleep! ;->

Sorry that your had such a disaster, though. I bet your belly was pretty chilly without your personal warmer. Which, by the way, a personal belly warming sounds pawsome!

  15. Your so cute Buster. Sleep is a good way to escape a bummer of a day. Hope you were able to keep warm without the power on. If the power goes out here I make mom get under the down comforter with me : )
    Not so bad.
