A Walk On The Wild Side

Many of my readers may not be aware that our coonhound, Daisy, is a wonderful pet sitting assistant who travels along with us from home to home to walk doggie clients and she loves every minute of it. On one particular rainy Monday, Daisy was assigned to be my fiance's walking partner and all was going according to plan until he received a call from an established client who requested that her wheaten terrier, Fred, be walked by mid-day. At that point, Amos was nearing his destination at the home of Charlie, a low-key black lab who lives in Auburn. Fred lives on the other side of town in the city of Manchester but since Fred is so darned cute and the boyfriend of our lovely Daisy (no kidding) he turned his car around and headed to Fred's house.

Amos thought everything would be fine once Charlie joined the pack and he was absolutely right....

until Daisy sniffed something worth investigating. Her object of desire was located behind an oak tree and it was big and juicy and brown. That's right, it was the most disgusting scent of all - dog poop! Amos desperately tried to lure her away from temptation but he was too late! Daisy was rolling around in the scent that was sure to be irresistable to every man, both human and canine, but she soon found out that her favorite human, Amos, was not impressed with Daisy's new perfume.

What a disappointment for Daisy! She hoped her dad would praise her for smelling so pretty but instead Daisy was given a much needed bath! Let's hope that Daisy learned from this experience!

  1. We all know that anytime you put a few dogs together, there's bound to be one that shows off for all to see, or is that smell?? :-)))
